New Logo and Identity Package for Iowa Photographer

Posted on May 9, 2014

Visual Lure recently completed a new logo and identity package for Brune Photography, owned by Kathie Brune, one of the photographers we had the pleasure of meeting this year at Shutterfest.ย  Kathie wanted a handwritten script used in the logo along with a set of wings.ย  She also requested to use the color purple.ย  Both the wings and the color purple had a deeper meaning for her and her family.

Below you can see the final logos, both vertical and horizontal options, and below that is the new identity package (letterhead, envelope and business card design).

Logo, Identity & Packaging Design for St. Louis Metro East Photographer

Posted on May 6, 2014

Niche Photography, a St. Louis Metro East photography studio owned by the talented Chad Keffer, recently came to Visual Lure to help re-brand his company.ย  Niche main focus is on engagement and wedding photography but they have recently been dabbling into baby and children’s photography too.

Chad’s old logo consisted of a common handwritten script that seemed a little generic. He wanted his new logo to feel rich and upscale.ย  During our creative brief we asked Chad to provide us with sample logos that he really liked. Many of the samples he provided us were very ornate, so we decided to head in that direction.

Below is the final logo, the final letterhead system and initial packaging options, which we are currently working on.ย  We may also be designing Niche a new website, so check back soon to see how we start to visually pull his entire brand together.ย  In the meantime, check Niche out at niche-photography.com, or facebook.com/NichePhotographySTL.

Logo Design for a Photographer in the Netherlands

Posted on December 26, 2013

Richard Baltus, a talented photographer from Gelderland, Netherlands, hired Visual Lure to design a new logo for his photography studio, Richard Baltus Fotografie. After reviewing the project brief and the logos he was attracted to, we decided to create a monogram-based logo.ย  Below are three unselected monograms we designed along with a script option we liked, and below that is the final logo; a clean modern monogram with the letters R and B integrated together.

Logo Design for Atlanta Based Photographer

Posted on November 22, 2013

We are in the midst of wrapping up a new logo for Traci Reid, an Altanta, GA based photographer.ย  When we received her signed agreement for the project, we were immediately drawn to her signature and we decided to create a custom hand lettered logo inspired by it.ย  We modified it to make it more legible, as her ‘T” kind of looks like a “J” and her “R” was a little hard to read.ย  You can see both the logo and her actual signature below. Underneath that is her final logo with a sample color palette utilizing her favorite color purple.

Traci was having a hard time deciding between these two logos, so we asked her if she wanted her brand to be more friendly, personal and approachable or more modern, fashionable and luxurious. She decided on the later, so the more contemporary logo won.

New Logo and Identity Package for Gabrielle Hunt Photography

Posted on November 15, 2013

Gabrielle Hunt Photography, a photography studio based out of Issaquah, WA, recently hired Visual Lure to design a new logo and identity package. They requested that the new logo be clean, simple and modern. You can see the new logo and identity package below, along with our favorite logo that was not selected. It is a monogram that creates both the letter”G” and the letter “H”.

Logo Design for San Francisco, CA Photographer

Posted on September 20, 2013

Visual Lure has been so busy that we’ve missed a couple projects we designed from a while back.ย  Months ago, we designed this logo for Elisa Cicinelli, a very talented photographer from San Francisco, California.ย  Elisa shoots everything from corporate and weddings, to high school seniors and families, and she services the greater San Francisco Bay Area, including Napa Valley, Sonoma, Peninsula & East Bay, Monterey and Carmel Valley. You can view her photography at www.elisacicinelli.com.

Below is the final logo and watermark we designed along with a sample identity package (letterhead, envelop and business card design).

Dallas Fort Worth Photography Studio Logo Design

Posted on September 6, 2013

Shue Studios, a Dallas Fort Worth photography studio, recently hired Visual Lure to design a new logo.ย  They wanted to somehow incorporate two letter S’s in the logo mark, and they really liked the logo we designed for Scott Yarberry Photography. Below are the initial logo design options we provided, and at the very bottom are the final logos.ย  As you can see, some of the options (and the final logo) have a similar feel to the Scott Yarberry logo, but are still completely different.ย  It is a good example of how you can use an existing logo to inspire the creation of another one without copying it in any way.
