Logo Design for Atlanta Based Photographer

We are in the midst of wrapping up a new logo for Traci Reid, an Altanta, GA based photographer. When we received her signed agreement for the project, we were immediately drawn to her signature and we decided to create a custom hand lettered logo inspired by it. We modified it to make it more legible, as her ‘T” kind of looks like a “J” and her “R” was a little hard to read. You can see both the logo and her actual signature below. Underneath that is her final logo with a sample color palette utilizing her favorite color purple.

Traci was having a hard time deciding between these two logos, so we asked her if she wanted her brand to be more friendly, personal and approachable or more modern, fashionable and luxurious. She decided on the later, so the more contemporary logo won.

New Logo and Identity Package for Gabrielle Hunt Photography

Gabrielle Hunt Photography, a photography studio based out of Issaquah, WA, recently hired Visual Lure to design a new logo and identity package. They requested that the new logo be clean, simple and modern. You can see the new logo and identity package below, along with our favorite logo that was not selected. It is a monogram that creates both the letter”G” and the letter “H”.

Dallas Fort Worth Photography Studio Logo Design

Shue Studios, a Dallas Fort Worth photography studio, recently hired Visual Lure to design a new logo. They wanted to somehow incorporate two letter S’s in the logo mark, and they really liked the logo we designed for Scott Yarberry Photography. Below are the initial logo design options we provided, and at the very bottom are the final logos. As you can see, some of the options (and the final logo) have a similar feel to the Scott Yarberry logo, but are still completely different. It is a good example of how you can use an existing logo to inspire the creation of another one without copying it in any way.

Logo & WordPress Website Design for Jonathan’s Portraits

Jonathan’s Portraits came to Visual Lure for a complete branding overhaul, including: logo design, a fully-custom search engine optimized WordPress website and some additional graphic design work. They are a Chicago, IL and Milwaukee, WI based photography studio specializing in family photography, high school seniors and glamour photography. The new website has been setup and will be launching very soon.

Below are some of the initial logo design options we provided along with the final logos. The final logo design features a monogram where the letter J morphs into the letter P. Underneath the logos, are some of the main pages in the new WordPress website. We will update this blog post when the new website goes live.

Complete Rebrand for Vancouver Photography Studio

Visual Lure is currently working on completely rebranding Konstantin Photography, a Vancouver British Columbia photography studio. Konstantin is a very talented photographer and his photography has a high-end fashion forward look so we came up with a simple and clean aesthetic to complement his work.

Pictured below is the final logo in two different formats, underneath that is the new identity package (business card, letterhead and envelope design) and the new homepage design for a fully custom search engine optimized WordPress website.

Logo & Identity Design for Australian Photographer

Visual Lure recently acquired its first client from the Land Down Under, Ronwyn Graham Photography. Ronwyn is a very talented photographer from Victoria, Australia specializing in newborns and babies. She contracted Visual Lure to design a new logo and identity package (letterhead/stationary). She loves watercolors, flower photography and she studied Chinese brush painting for 3 years. She also has the sweetest voice and accent we’ve ever heard.

Ronwyn wanted a clean, simple, classic logo that would stand the test of time. You can see our initial logo design options and the final logo design below. Underneath the logos is our proposed identity design package. Check back soon to see the final identity design.

Full Branding Package for Photography Company Featured on Creative Live

Salvatore Cincotta recently contracted Visual Lure to design a complete branding/identity package for one of his lucky on-screen viewers at Creative Live. Gray Photography, soon to be Jeff & Jewels Photography, was the lucky viewer who received the gift. Included was a new logo design, a stationary/identity package, and a custom WordPress website home page layout. Sal also requested that we show our design process along the way. Below you will see everything from initial logo design sketches to final home page design.

After our initial consultation with the client, they decided that “vintage” and “modern” were what they wanted their image to portray. They wanted it to look high-end yet have a vintage charm, similar to their style of photography. They also wanted to stick with a black and white color theme, which is always a great color pallet for photographers. It allows the photography itself to really stand out.

Next, we took the sketches into the computer and developed the initial batch of logo design options. Here are all the initial logos we provided the client:

Once we received feedback, we made a couple minor adjustments to three logos they selected. Here they are:

The client loved all three and had a hard time deciding, but in the end, they selected the logo design at the bottom. Here is the final logo and stationary/identity package including fonts and patterns.
