Niche Photography Website Launch, Branding Package Update & Brochure Design

Visual Lure recently launched a new website for Niche Photography. Niche Photography is a St. Louis area wedding photographer specializing in portrait, baby and high school senior photography. They are located in Mascoutah, IL and service the entire St. Louis and St. Louis metro east area. In addition to their new website, we updated their identity package and designed a new pricing brochure for them.

The new website was built using a fully custom designed, search engine friendly, responsive WordPress theme with a multitude of cool effects. The new site features a “sticky” menu that always stays at the top of the page. The logo mark elegantly fades away allowing the menu bar to use less vertical space. Other features include an easily maintainable home page slideshow, a unique rollover-effect for recent post on the home page, and masonry style responsive galleries. We also updated Niche’s visual branding package by switching his logo to all grey (the logo mark was originally a Tiffany’s colored teal blue). Niche felt this switch made the brand more neutral or more appealing to the masses.

We wrapped up all these upgrades with an engagement and wedding pricing brochure. They will hand these out to potential bride and grooms at local bridal shows.

Custom WordPress Website for St. Louis & Illinois Window & Door Company

Visual Lure just helped Wilke Window & Door launch a new custom WordPress website. Wilke is a window and door company with showrooms in Shiloh, IL, Fenton, MO and St. Charles, MO. They serve the entire St. Louis Metropolitan area and all of Southern Illinois. In addition to windows and doors, they also carry columns, copper roofs, cupolas, fire place mantels, locksets, shutters & siding, skylights, staircase railing and trim & mouldings. They’ve been in business for over 50 years with a simple business model based on offering high quality products and treating customers right (our favorite types of business to work with).

The new website was built in WordPress using a fully custom designed theme. WordPress will allow Wilke to edit and maintain the entire website in-house (with less than a couple hours of training). The site is responsive, rendering beautifully on all types of devices, which provides for a great user experience. It also features a sliding Request a Quote form, a custom testimonials widget, an accordian showroom contact section and more. In addition to web design and development, we also provided search engine optimization (SEO) services.

New Website Design for St. Louis Area Breast Cancer Charity

Swing Fore Hope, a St. Louis metro east 501c3 charity dedicated to finding a cure for breast cancer, recently contracted Visual Lure to re-design their website. Since its creation in 2007, Swing Fore Hope has collectively donated over $250,000 to the fight against breast cancer by funding cancer research and helping families with financial struggles due to this horrible disease.

Even though their existing website was created in WordPress, the way it was set up makes it difficult for our client to update. We will be building the new site with custom admin sections solving their current issues, adding e-commerce so donors and tournament participants can easily donate and pay on-line, and we will be converting the website into a responsive design to ensure a pleasant user experience on ALL devices such as desktop computers, tablets and smart phones.

On a personal note, my mother is a breast cancer survivor, and we are always happy to help clients fighting for such a great cause!

New Website Design for a Colorado WordPress Web Developer

Visual Lure is currently in the process of designing a new website for Mr. WordPress, a Colorado based web developer that specializes in fast-loading, SEO friendly and W3C compliant custom WordPress themes and plugins. We will be providing design-only services on this project as our client will develop the new website himself.

Mr. WordPress wanted his new website to be simple, clean and easily converted into a responsive design. We feel our initial home page design (seen below) meets all of his requirements.

Visual Lure Rebrands a St. Louis, MO Hospital/Medical Center

Visual Lure, in collaboration with Cohesion, recently helped St. Anthony’s Medical Center with a new logo design and slight re-brand.

Cohesion is a strong strategy-based St. Louis, MO marketing and branding agency, and St. Anthony’s Medical Center is a faith-based hospital organization that serves the residents in south St. Louis County and several counties in southwest Illinois.

We initially started the project looking to completely re-brand the hospital with an all new logo, but in the process they decided they just wanted to update their existing logo. Below is their old original logo and below that is the new one. Staying true to the two-tone blue color palette, the cross and the “swoosh”, we modernized their old logo design bringing it up-to-date.

Below the logos, you can see the new identity package (business card, letterhead and envelope), a micro-site for their emergency room and a couple pages from their new graphic standards guide.

At the very bottom is our favorite unselected logo design that we initially proposed. This logo features a medical cross combined with a religious cross representing both faith and medicine which is the core of who they are.

WordPress Web Design for Photography Editing/Post-Production Company

Visual Lure is in the process of completing a new website for EvolveEdits.com, a St. Louis Metro East photo editing and post production company. Evolve was originally based out of Seattle, Washington but is now located in downtown O’Fallon, Illinois. It was co-founded by Sal Cincotta & Laurin Thienes and is now one of the country’s premier editing companies for professional photographers. Their services include retouching, photo selection, album design and high-end professional editing which transforms quality images into true pieces are art.

The new website was built in WordPress with a custom theme, seamless blog and a robust member’s section. The member’s section ties directly into Evolve’s accounting and project management software using an API. This feature streamlines Evolve’s accounting/billing process, allows members to view their order history, and help remove TONS of paperwork and data entry for Evolve’s staff. The new website is scheduled to launch on November 1st.

Visual Lure will also be providing Evolve with Search Engine Optimization (SEO) services.

New Arch City Granite WordPress Website Launches

Visual Lure recently launched Arch City Granite & Marble’s new custom WordPress website. Arch City Granite is a St. Louis, MO granite countertops company with two locations in the St. Louis metropolitan area, one in the city and the other in O’Fallon, MO. They specialize in high quality fabrication and installation of granite, marble, quartz and soapstone countertops. Along with providing web design and development services, we also search engine optimized the website and worked with a third party SEO specialist.
