Two Visual Lure Logos to be Published in Upcoming Logo Lounge 8

Visual Lure just received the following email from LogoLounge, the most prestigious logo design publication in the World: “The judging for LogoLounge Volume 8, has been completed. We are excited with the exceptional quality level of work selected for this eighth volume. This was an incredibly competitive judging session with over 35,000 logos entered for consideration. We are also very pleased to inform you that your work has been chosen for inclusion in the new book by an international panel of judges. This years panel included, Mikey Burton of Mikey Burton Design & Illustration, Quique Ollervides of OLLERVIDES, Katie Kirk of Eight Hour Day, Fraser Davidson of Sweet Crude, Debbie Millman of Sterling Brands, Ty Mattson of Mattson Creative,  Mike Abbink of Wolff Olins, and Simon Frouws of Simon Frouws.”

The logos we designed for Tony Calarco Photography and Standard Construction Group were both selected for this publication.  These will be our 10th and 11th logos published in a LogoLounge book.  We are greatly honored to have been selected once again.

Logo Design Upgrade/Cleanup for Florida Fishing Tournament

Visual Lure was recently contracted to upgrade/clean up an existing logo for Get The Net, a big game fishing tournament held in the Florida Keys.  All our client had was a low resolution photocopied version of the logo, so we redrew the fish, extended his body to fit the area better, and moved the “established in 1997” from the fish’s belly to the left and right of the illustration to fill up the blank space and to better balance the logo.

Below is the original logo the client provided us, and underneath that are all the formats we provided, including one, two and three color logo design options.

Photographer Logo Design for Canadian Photography Studio

Crystal Clear Images, a professional photography studio located in Newfoundland, Canada, recently hired Visual Lure to design a new logo and custom WordPress website/theme.  The new website will feature easy to maintain photography portfolios and a seamlessly integrated blog. We will also be providing them with search engine optimization (SEO) services.

Logo Design for Ontario Canada Photographer

Logo & Identity Design for Australian Photographer

Visual Lure recently acquired its first client from the Land Down Under, Ronwyn Graham Photography. Ronwyn is a very talented photographer from Victoria, Australia specializing in newborns and babies.  She contracted Visual Lure to design a new logo and identity package (letterhead/stationary). She loves watercolors, flower photography and she studied Chinese brush painting for 3 years. She also has the sweetest voice and accent we’ve ever heard.

Ronwyn wanted a clean, simple, classic logo that would stand the test of time.  You can see our initial logo design options and the final logo design below.  Underneath the logos is our proposed identity design package.  Check back soon to see the final identity design.

Logo Design for Washington State Pet Photographer

Visual Lure was recently contracted to design a new logo for Karen Fosberg Photography, a Washingon state photographer specializing in pet photography.  Karen loves to photograph pets, especially dogs, playing outside and capturing them in action.  After reviewing some of her great portfolio, the first thing that came to our minds was a dog jumping through a camera shutter, which you can see below in our initial batch of logo design options.  Check back soon to see the rest of our design process and for the final logo design.

Logo Design for Washington D.C. Photographer

Visual Lure is in the process of designing a new logo for You In Focus, a Washington D.C. based photography company owned by Olga Miroshnichenko.  She too contracted Visual Lure after seeing our work featured on Salvatore Cincotta’s Creative Live workshop.

Olga wanted to use her full name for her company but knew it would be hard to spell and pronounce for some of her clientele. For this reason, she decided to name her company You In Focus Photography.  We felt, You In Focus, didn’t sound like a luxury brand so we recommended shortening her last name and just using Olga Miro for the company name.  Below are a couple logos we designed for You In Focus and underneath those are the logos we created for Olga Miro Photography.  Check back soon to see what directions Olga decides to take.

side note: even though we absolutely love the (first column, second row) You In Focus logo below, we feel it doesn’t match the type of brand Olga is trying to create. Why do we love it?  Because the company name is You In Focus and the letter U is in focus.  How genius is that?
