Logo Design for Cleveland, Ohio Film Production Company

Visual Lure was recently contracted to design a new logo for Sandham Film, a small film production company based out of Cleveland, Ohio which produces short films for private and commercial entities.  They produce videos for weddings, commercial marketing, music videos, etc. They wanted the new logo to have an Art Deco/1930’s aesthetic, and below are the initial logo design options we provided them.  Check back soon to see which logo they select.

Logo Design for Dallas Fort Worth Spa

Visual Lure was recently contracted to design a new logo for Bloom Spa & Laser, a Dallas Fort Worth spa and laser treatment facility.  Bloom had another design firm work on their logo, but they were unhappy with the results, and hired us to redesign it.  They wanted to see an option with an ornate border and feminine script, and one with a tulip creating the letter “L” in Bloom.  Below are are the options we provided them, plus an additional one we came up with.  Check back soon to see which logo design they select.

Logo Design for Chicago, IL Photographers Jordan Imhoff Photography

Below is the new logo design and sample identity package for Jordan Imhoff Photography, a husband and wife team based out of Chicago, Illinois.  They shoot weddings, engagements, family portraits, high school seniors and more.

They were a pleasure to deal with, and the process of designing the logo went very smoothly because they knew the exact style/aesthetic they were looking for.  We were able to deliver the final logo with only two logo options and one round of revisions.

10 Year Anniversary Logo Design for St. Louis Parks & Rec. Department

Visual Lure was recently contracted by the City of Des Peres’ Department of Parks & Recreation to design a new 10 year anniversary logo for The Lodge Des Peres.  The Lodge is an indoor and outdoor aquatic facility with a fitness center, gymnasium and meeting rooms.

The Lodge provided us with the Parks & Rec logo, and The Lodge logo as seen below. During our discovery stage, we found the Des Peres crest, also show below to the right of the other two logos.  The Department requested that we include some of the elements in those logos into a couple of our proposed designs.  Below, you can see how we incorporated some of those components into our initial options.  In the circular logo below, we used the Des Peres crest shape for the anniversary shield and in the bottom right logo we used the tree from the Parks & Rec logo along with the Lodge illustration.

Photography Logo Design for Allen, Texas Photographers

Visual Lure recently completed a new logo design for Scott Yarberry Photography, a talented group of photographers in Allen, Texas.

The final logo (below) features a modern three-dimensional ribbon-like monogram complimented by a clean simple typeface.  Underneath the final logos are all the initial logo design options we provided.

We also provided the final logos in vertical formats, and alternative “solid, non-gradient” formats that can be used for applications like embroidery or embossing, where gradients can not be reproduced.

Logo Design for St. Louis Area Car Wash & Gas Station

Visual Lure was recently contracted to design a logo for Tidal Wave Car Wash, a new St. Louis area car wash and gas station currently in the planning stages.  The only creative direction we received from our client was that he wanted to use a tidal wave in the new logo. We came up with the initial batch of logos below, and underneath those you will find the final logo with and without a colored background.

The final logo features a tidal wave morphing into an automobile tire.  We think it is a pretty clever and memorable solution.

Photography Logo Design for Dallas Fort Worth Photographer

Kristian Kapon, a Dallas Fort Worth (Texas) photographer, contracted Visual Lure to design a new logo and custom WordPress website for his photography company.  We would say that more than 95% of the time we nail logos down on the first round of options, or at minimum, we get a strong starting point to work with. Well, this was one of the rare occasions where it took a couple of rounds to get one nailed down.  In our discovery stage, we always ask our clients to provide us with some sample logos they really like. Kristian provided us with a batch of logos that could have been broken down into two different styles, some where simple and clean and others were more dimension with effects, bevels and shadows.  Since most of the samples where clean and simple we explored those options, but what he really wanted was something with a little more “bling”.

Below are the initial logo design options we provided Kristian (he did somewhat like one), and below that are the second round of options. At the very bottom you will see the final logo design.  Even though we added the 3-D metallic effects, we feel the mark itself is very strong, a monogram featuring two overlapping “K”s.
