Web Design for St. Louis Metro East Property Management Company

Visual Lure was recently contracted to redesign a website for Century Development Management Co., a St. Louis Metro East property management company that manages apartment complexes in O’Fallon IL, Belleville IL and Mascoutah IL.ย  The new website will be built using a custom designed WordPress theme. This WordPress theme will allow CDM’s staff to easily maintain the website and manage their inventory. The new website will also allow potential renters to view all available apartments, to be put on an apartment waiting list, or to apply for apartments online. Check back soon for the official launch.

Logo Design for St. Louis Recycling Company

Visual Lure was recently contracted to redesign a logo for St. Louis Recycling, a St. Louis recycling company that offers single stream recycling. Single stream recycling refers to the system in which all paper, cardboard and plastic containers are mixed together in a collection truck, instead of having to be sorted into separate commodities by the business and handled separately throughout the collection process. This makes it easier, and more convenient, for companies to recycle.

We design a large amount of logos for companies in St. Louis, and we usually cringe when one of them request us to use the St. Louis Gateway Arch in the logo design. Why? Because the Arch tends to be overused in St. Louis logos, but sometimes it just makes sense, and this is one of those cases.ย  The new logo features the St. Louis arch integrated into the universal symbol for recycling. A clever, simple and memorable logo.

Custom WordPress Web Design for St. Louis Photography Studio

Visual Lure was recently contracted to design a custom WordPress website/theme for Roland Studios Photography, a husband and wife photography team located in St. Louis, MO. They specialize in wedding photography, but they also shoot tons of engagements, seniors, families, maternity and babies. Their previous website was built using an existing WordPress theme, but it had tons of limitation when it came to customizations. It forced them to use certain areas to place content whether content needed to be there or not.ย  It wasn’t very user or search engine friendly and had issues when viewed on iPads and smartphones. The new website was designed specifically to be search engine optimized, user friendly, and admin friendly, making it easy to update and edit pages, images and blog post. For the design, we used elements from their logo to tie everything together.

Logo Design for a Professional Photographer in Germany

Visual Lure was recently contracted to design a new logo for Thomas Wusher Photography, a talented professional photographer from Germany.ย  In our research and discovery stage, he provided the following information: “What I want is a logo to “sign” my work and products with that has a touch of luxury and personality. I love logos that look handwritten. It has to be easy to read, print, and emboss, because I want to use it online, on my business papers, embossing on albums and on the packaging of my goods.”ย  Below are his old logo, the new logo design and a couple of our initial logo design options.ย  You can view Thomas’ website at www.ThomasWuscher.com.

Logo Design/Branding for St. Louis Area Roofing Company

Visual Lure was recently contracted to design a new logo and provide branding services for Performance Roofing, Inc., a locally owned and operated, St. Louis, MO roofing company that has been in business since 1976. They are a full service roofing company serving both residential and commercial properties in St. Louis, MO and the St. Louis Metro East, Illinois.ย  Below are our initial two logo designs along with a sample business card and truck decal layout. The first logo contains a red “P” for Performance and an overlapping roof line when combined with the red “P” creates the letter “R” for roofing.ย  The second logo creates both the letters “P” and “R” also and are placed on top of a shield.ย  The shield represents strength and protection, the two most important aspects of a quality roof.

Custom Christmas Card Design for St. Louis Area Engineering Firm

Visual Lure was recently contracted to design Thouvenot, Wade & Moerchen’s 2012 Christmas cards.ย  This will be the third year we’ve designed a custom illustration for their cards. This year’s card features a stocking stuffed with engineering related objects, including a ruler, compass, triangle, blue prints and a calculator that reads 2,012. The name tag on the stocking reads: To: Cybil N. Gineer, From: Santa.
