New Website Design for a Colorado WordPress Web Developer

Visual Lure is currently in the process of designing a new website for Mr. WordPress, a Colorado based web developer that specializes in fast-loading, SEO friendly and W3C compliant custom WordPress themes and plugins.  We will be providing design-only services on this project as our client will develop the new website himself.

Mr. WordPress wanted his new website to be simple, clean and easily converted into a responsive design.  We feel our initial home page design (seen below) meets all of his requirements.

Visual Lure Rebrands a St. Louis, MO Hospital/Medical Center

Visual Lure, in collaboration with Cohesion, recently helped St. Anthony’s Medical Center with a new logo design and slight re-brand.

Cohesion is a strong strategy-based St. Louis, MO marketing and branding agency, and St. Anthony’s Medical Center is a faith-based hospital organization that serves the residents in south St. Louis County and several counties in southwest Illinois.

We initially started the project looking to completely re-brand the hospital with an all new logo, but in the process they decided they just wanted to update their existing logo.  Below is their old original logo and below that is the new one.  Staying true to the two-tone blue color palette, the cross and the “swoosh”, we modernized their old logo design bringing it up-to-date.

Below the logos, you can see the new identity package (business card, letterhead and envelope), a micro-site for their emergency room and a couple pages from their new graphic standards guide.

At the very bottom is our favorite unselected logo design that we initially proposed.  This logo features a medical cross combined with a religious cross representing both faith and medicine which is the core of who they are.

Website Redesign for an Online Photography Training & Workshop Company

Visual Lure was recently contracted to redesign the “look and feel” of FisheyeConnect.com, a company that promotes photography workshops and houses online on-demand training videos for photographers.  The existing website is dated and the information and layout is not conducive for the best user experience.  We’ve cleaned up and restructured the design of the site making it easier for users to locate the information and courses they are trying to find.

Fisheye Connect’s web developers are currently working on implementing the new design.  We will post an update when the new website launches, but in the meantime, check out their existing website at FisheyeConnect.com.

Website Design for Chicago Suburb Pest Control Company

Visual Lure, in collaboration with Chicago’s Dragon Internet Marketing, is in the process of designing a new website for Fox Valley Environmental Pest Control.  Fox Valley Environmental Pest Control is an environmentally friendly, family owned and customer service oriented pest control company that services Kane, Du Page, Cook and numerous other Chicago counties.  They specialize in the extermination of ants, bees, wasp, rodents and any other bug or pest.

The new website will be developed using a fully custom, search engine optimized and responsive designed WordPress theme.  Below is our proposed home page design. Check back soon for updates and the official launch.

WordPress Website for Chicago Personal Injury Attorneys

Behindtheshutter.com WordPress Web Design Sneak Peek

Visual Lure is currently working on an all new Behind The Shutter website for Salvatore Cincotta. Behind the Shutter is a free online photography training and educational website and home of the free online Shutter Magazine. This will be the third version we have designed for them.  The new website will once again be built in WordPress, but this time with a custom responsive WordPress theme.

Responsive web design, a relatively new way to design websites, uses one website/content source but displays it differently depending on what type of device you are viewing the site from.  Therefore, no need for a second mobile friendly website. This is all done through cascading styling sheets (CSS).  Having a responsive site has also become an important ranking factor for SEO as Google, and other search engines, view it as being the best practice for an optimal viewing experience.

Logo Design for a Photographer in the Netherlands

Richard Baltus, a talented photographer from Gelderland, Netherlands, hired Visual Lure to design a new logo for his photography studio, Richard Baltus Fotografie. After reviewing the project brief and the logos he was attracted to, we decided to create a monogram-based logo.  Below are three unselected monograms we designed along with a script option we liked, and below that is the final logo; a clean modern monogram with the letters R and B integrated together.
