T-Shirt/Logo Design for WPPI Speaker

Posted on March 7, 2012

We recently went to Las Vegas for the 2012 Wedding and Portrait Photographers International tradeshow, more commonly knows as WPPI. I believe it is the largest photography tradeshow in the World with an attendance close to 16,000 people.ย  We went there for a couple reason: 1) to support our friend and client Salvatore Cincotta who spoke to a packed platform class of approximately 800 people about taking their business to the next level.ย  And 2) to offer his class and others a limited time special on logo design and branding.ย  For those of you who don’t know Sal, he is an international award winning photographer, speaker, educator and published writer.ย  His class featured a live performance by Ingrid Michaelson (courtesy of Song Freedom), a t-shirt gun, free giveaways, Q and A’s and more, not to mention some excellent tips and business advice for photographers. One of Sal’s main speaking points is about finding and using what he calls your X Factor, defining what’s different about your company and using it to your advantage.ย  Since this is one of his core messages he wanted some X Factor t-shirts made to give away during his speech, or should I say blast them into the crowd using a t-shirt gun.ย  You can see the t-shirts we designed below.

Another Anheuser Busch Susan G. Komen Shirt Design

Posted on July 8, 2011

A Budweiser distributor from Michigan liked our 2010 Anheuser Busch Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure t-shirt design so much they wanted to adapt it for their Susan G. Komen Rally for the Cure Golf Outing.ย  After they received approval from Anheuser Busch to use the artwork, we removed the running people and replaced them with a foursome of golfers along with some trees in the background.ย  Here is the altered t-shirt design.ย  I hope they raise a bunch of money for a great cause.

Anheuser Busch’s 2011 Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure T-shirt Design

Posted on May 5, 2011

We were honored to design the t-shirts for Anheuser Busch’s (Susan G. Komen) Race for the Cure team again this year. Below is the final design, and the design below that, could not be used due to Susan G. Komen’s logo standards/guidelines, but we thought we’d show it anyway.

It’s hard to believe it’s been a year already, and if you’ve kept up with our blog since then, you would know that my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer around the same time I designed last years shirts.ย  Since then, she has finished her chemo and radiation and is finally starting to feel “back to normal”.ย  I feel both lucky and blessed that she is OK, and it always means a little extra when I get to design these shirts.

Look out for our shirts June 11th in St. Louis at the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure.

Anheuser-Busch’s Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure T-shirt Design

Posted on April 23, 2010

Visual Lure was recently contracted by Anheuser-Busch to design their t-shirts for the 2010 St. Louis Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. We were honored to design this years shirts for such a great company and such a great cause.

On a personal note, my mother was recently diagnosed with breast cancer just before Thanksgiving last year. They caught it early so she will be one of the lucky ones. She is currently going though chemo and is in good spirits with minimal side effects. We have been both lucky and blessed. Without the support of my mother, I don’t know what I’d be doing. She was the one who encouraged me to pursue art. As a child, my mother would always carry pencils, a box of crayons and paper in her purse for me. She provided me with enough blocks to build cities in the living room, and she always signed me up for art classes. So thanks to her, I am doing what I love for a living.ย  Thanks Mom!

Here are the two initial design options we provided AB. I will post the final design once it has been approved. Oh ya, and please support Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

Anheuser-Busch liked both designs so much, we ended up using both of them, one on each side.ย  Be on the lookout for them Saturday, June 12, 2010 in St. Louis.
