Logo, Branding and Website Design & Development for the St. Louis HERO Network

The St. Louis HERO Network is a non-for-profit online directory that promotes local first responder and military owned businesses. In addition to the business directory, users can find a help wanted section that features an up-to-date list of local police, fire and EMS departments that are currently hiring, training and classes that are offered by local fire responders (such as CPR and stroke life support), real estate listings, and a calendar of events. It also features a HELP A HERO section where you can make a donation to a local fallen first responder’s family.

The HERO Network came to Visual Lure to help build a website along with a logo and additional collaterals. The new logo features a badge, an arch, and a HERO ribbon. Icons were also included to represent the four types of members. The color palette was inspired and pulled from typical fire responder related colors.

As for the website, it was developed in WordPress using a fully custom, responsive designed theme. The back-end is extremely complex as it integrates e-commerce memberships, an approval process, member listings that can be edited, ad listings with payments, donations, an event calendar, database feeds that automatically organize and populate the directory, custom post types and more.

New WordPress Website for Brewster Companies

Visual Lure recently designed and developed a new custom WordPress website for Brewster Companies. Brewster is a family owned and operated excavating company based out of Maryville, Illinois that specializes in land clearing, structural and bridge demolition, site preparation and erosion control. As a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise, Brewster have earned a solid reputation for safety, high standards and delivering projects on time and in budget. They work with private owners, state agencies as well as local municipalities. Their client list includes: IDOT, MODOT, Ameren, Waste Management, Alcoa and more.

The new website was built in WordPress using a custom coded, responsive designed/mobile friendly theme. It features a clean, simple layout, multi-column layout options, and simple to maintain slideshows.

WordPress Website for St. Louis Drug Delivery Solutions Manufacturer

PD Holdings is a global leader in the fields of manufacturing and developing drug delivery solutions for pharmaceutical, OTC, nutritional, and animal & food companies. They are headquartered in St. Louis, MO with an additional facility in Seymour, Indiana.

PD Holdings recently contracted Visual Lure to design and develop a new fully custom responsive WordPress website. They requested that the new website be user-friendly and that it look “clean and corporate”. We provided them with two initial home page layouts, one that was more modern and contemporary, and the other which used a more traditional layout. Below is a sneak peek of the initial two home page options along with the template page of the selected design.

Visual Lure will also be providing search engine optimization services along with coordinating copywriting, photography and videography services.

Custom WordPress Website Design for a St. Louis Metro East Technology and Communications Contractor

C5T Corporation is a woman and service disabled-veteran owned small business based out of Scott Air Force Base, Illinois. C5T stands for Command & Control, Communications, Computers, and Capabilities Transformation. The majority of their work is government contracted in the fields of information technology and communications with a focus on Department of Defense, military and civil aviation. Most of their staff is made up of U.S. veterans with years of defense department and civil aviation experience as military, civilian, and contractors. C5T wanted the new website to emphasize their patriotism by using red, white and blue and the American flag in the design.

The new website was developed in WordPress with a custom designed theme. The new theme is responsive, rendering beautifully on desktop computers, tablets and smart phones. It also features an easy to update home page slideshow, multiple easy to maintain widgets including a sub menu widget that automatically populates the sub-page navigation into the sidebar. This makes the site easier to scale as they plan on adding most of the new content themselves. We also updated their logo, staying true to the original, but making it more usable and easier to reproduce. In addition to the website and logo upgrade; we designed C5T a new tri-fold brochure that complements the new site.
