Visual Lure Rebrands a St. Louis, MO Hospital/Medical Center

Visual Lure, in collaboration with Cohesion, recently helped St. Anthony’s Medical Center with a new logo design and slight re-brand.

Cohesion is a strong strategy-based St. Louis, MO marketing and branding agency, and St. Anthony’s Medical Center is a faith-based hospital organization that serves the residents in south St. Louis County and several counties in southwest Illinois.

We initially started the project looking to completely re-brand the hospital with an all new logo, but in the process they decided they just wanted to update their existing logo.  Below is their old original logo and below that is the new one.  Staying true to the two-tone blue color palette, the cross and the “swoosh”, we modernized their old logo design bringing it up-to-date.

Below the logos, you can see the new identity package (business card, letterhead and envelope), a micro-site for their emergency room and a couple pages from their new graphic standards guide.

At the very bottom is our favorite unselected logo design that we initially proposed.  This logo features a medical cross combined with a religious cross representing both faith and medicine which is the core of who they are.

Shabby Jack Photography’s Print Ad Design & Packaging

Visual Lure designed a couple of logos for Shabby Jack Photography a while back and they recently contacted us to design a new print ad.  They also developed new packaging, which they handled themselves, using the two logos we created for them.  It is always nice to see our clients implementing our logos properly and in such a high quality way.

Here is the new ad we designed for them:

…and here is a photo of their new packaging system.  It features heavy card stock labels that have been custom die-cut,  laser etched and custom cut metal cards with elegant ribbon and beautiful textured boxes.

Custom Illustrated Christmas Card for St. Louis Metro East Construction Company

Christmas trees are going up, Christmas music is already playing on the radio, and it’s time for companies to get their cards designed or selected in order to have them printed, addressed and mailed out in time.

Here is another custom illustrated Christmas card we recently designed for Holland Construction Services, a St. Louis Metro East construction company that provides general contracting, design build and construction management services.

While we were sketching initial concepts, we decided we wanted to somehow tie the star of their logo into the actual design. Using negative space and a dithered silhouette, we created a Christmas tree with the logo’s star topping it off. We feel the design is clever, subtle, simple and classy. New Logo and Identity Package for Gabrielle Hunt Photography

Gabrielle Hunt Photography, a photography studio based out of Issaquah, WA, recently hired Visual Lure to design a new logo and identity package. They requested that the new logo be clean, simple and modern. You can see the new logo and identity package below, along with our favorite logo that was not selected. It is a monogram that creates both the letter”G” and the letter “H”.

Christmas Card Design for St. Louis Metro East Engineering Firm

We are approaching “that time” of year again, the time to design Christmas cards so that there’s enough headway to get them printed, signed, addressed and mailed.

Here is Visual Lure’s first design of the year, a card for TWM, a St. Louis Metro East engineering firm. The card features Santa riding his bicycle on the St. Clair County Metro Bike Link, a bike trail designed by TWM that runs through Belleville and Swansea, IL. To make the card a little more festive, we added a Rudolph the Reindeer crossing sign.

Logo Design for San Francisco, CA Photographer

Visual Lure has been so busy that we’ve missed a couple projects we designed from a while back.  Months ago, we designed this logo for Elisa Cicinelli, a very talented photographer from San Francisco, California.  Elisa shoots everything from corporate and weddings, to high school seniors and families, and she services the greater San Francisco Bay Area, including Napa Valley, Sonoma, Peninsula & East Bay, Monterey and Carmel Valley.
