Label Designs for Award Winning Meat Rubs

Visual Lure recently helped redesign labels for King Louie’s Meat Apostles, a St. Louis area award-winning seasoning company with meat rubs for almost every protein – including some for vegetables.

Before:

Their previous labels did not look or feel like award-winning rubs. The fonts used felt inappropriate, and the craftsmanship was lacking to say the least.

The owner wanted the new labels to leap off the shelves and feel more luxurious. He also wanted to use a metallic paper that would make the gold elements on the label really stand out and pop! White was printed on the labels to hide the metallic effect on certain areas, such as the nutrition facts, the black bar, and the bar code. All the gold – along with the eyes, the metal in the crown, and the gold leaf – shimmer on the final product. We couldn’t be happier with how these turned out.

5th Anniversary Logo Design for a St. Louis Area Rail Road Company

One of our favorite types of logos to design are anniversary marks. Why? Because we get to create a unique logo, but it still has to compliment and vibe with the existing brand. On this logo, our client wanted their 5th anniversary logo to be inspired by vintage rail road logos. Below are our initial five proposed options.

The top left emblem is the winning design. They liked it so much that we created another seal (bottom right) that will be used as a secondary brand mark.

Visual Lure Honored to Have Seven Logos Selected for LogoLounge Book 13

Visual Lure is once again honored to have logos selected for an upcoming LogoLounge Book. This year seven of our logos will be honored to grace the pages of LogoLounge Book 13.

These seven logos will bring our total to 50 logos published in 10 different LogoLounge books.

This year 39,000 logos were submitted from 60 different countries. Of those, 3,000 winning logos were selected from 698 different logo designers/firms.

From LogoLounge: Everyday designers are inspired and inspire others through LogoLounge. As a result, we also get to showcase top identity design from around the world through the LogoLounge book series, where a preeminent panel of jurors chose logos to represent the best of the best. Our judges for this edition included Irina Kolosovskay, Kim Berlin, Kakha Kakhadzen, Ivan Garcia, Adam Anderson, James Greenfield, Nadia Castro, Allan Peters, Brooke Robinson, and Steff Geissbuhler.
