Mr. Pink BBQ is a St. Louis, Missouri team of grand champion grill masters. In 2014 and 2016 they were awarded the title of Grand Champions at the Annual Wildwood Barbecue Bash, one of the top BBQ competitions in the United States. The name of the team was inspired by Steve Buscemi’s character in Reservoir Dogs.
In the words of Mr. Pink: It all started while grilling with friends and family in our backyards. Kids were catching bass, April Wine was playing on the radio, our ladies lookinโ real good in jean shorts and American flag bikini tops. Now back to us… Mr. Pink BBQ is a barbecue team made up of three brothers (one from another mother), their families, and some good friends. We entered our first BBQ competition in Wildwood, Missouri in 2012. We spilled some chili on the ground, drank all the beers, and had a real good time.
A few years later, Mr. Pink BBQ had earned several top ten awards and two Grand Championships. Mr. Pink is all about several things. Here are some notables: family, friends, The United States, Busch beer, horsepower, largemouth bass, and electric guitar music – that our wives hate.
