Allusion Photography is a top, award-winning, Chicago wedding photography and cinematography studio located in Oak Brook, Illinois. In additional to winning multiple photography awards, the studio has been recognized by theKnot.com as a Hall of Fame Member, their highest honor.
Allusion came to Visual Lure wanting to customize an existing WordPress theme (Chocolate Responsive Photography Theme). After reviewing the theme, along with the customization they wanted, we found it was easier to simply rebuild the site from scratch. We typically would never use a design we didn’t do to build a site, but since Allusion had already paid for the theme (and they were existing clients), we made an exception.
Using the “Chocolate” design as inspiration, we added features such as: custom post type portfolio pages, a custom blog feed, a seamlessly integrated blog, native masonry photo galleries and more.
